Copper Nickel Ball Valves

We, at Kinnari Steel Corporation, are well known for our excellent execution of both bulk and small orders of Copper nickel ball valves. Our performance in the last decade has led us to a platform of immense trust by the customers. A rejection rate of less than one percent has consolidated the claim. The primary reason for this is the priority that we give to complete satisfaction of the customer. This includes our excellent after sales services, along with the high quality goods supplied by us. We are known for maintaining the stock of goods, as according to our policies, a new set of raw materials is ready to replenish the stock as soon as another set is dispatched to be delivered to the customer. We have supplied copper nickel ball valves to industries all over the world.

We are very particular in following our one and only motive, which is customer satisfaction. We claim a rejection rate of less than one percent, and that consolidates the promises made by us. We never fail to prove that choosing us has been the right decision.

Know more about Copper Nickel Ball Valves

Also known as cupro-nickels, copper nickel alloys exist in a whole range of different compositions and varied properties. Some of the best known alloys are:

  • Copper with 10% nickel
  • Copper with 30% nickel
  • Copper with 25% nickel with 0.05-0.4% manganese
  • Copper with 45% nickel (also known as constantan)
  • Some of the properties are given below.
  • Properties of some Cu-Ni alloys[8]

They have good resistance to corrosion in sea water. They also have high strength and resist impingement corrosion. They also exhibit appreciable ductility and hardening is only possible through cold working. The nickel content enables them to exhibit appreciable strength at elevated temperatures. They also have a low temperature co-efficient of electrical resistance. Some alloys also resist biofouling.

They find applications in various sectors. They are used in sea water condenser systems and desalination systems, on account of good resistance to corrosion in sea water. Other marine applications like cladding for ships’ hulls, legs of oil rig platforms and sea water intake screens, also exploit this property. They are also used in making currency coins on account of good corrosion resistance. Copper nickel alloys are used in automotive applications like brake and hydraulic suspension systems and cooling systems in cars. Low temperature co-efficient of electrical resistivity makes them useful for making wires in high precision resistors. They also have other applications like cooling circuits, ammunition and condenser tubes.

Know the ongoing scenario

In the midst of the growing competition, the customers fall into the trap of middlemen and end up paying huge sums of money as commission. They are often lost after the delivery of products, as they have no one to attend to their after sales grievances. The materials are inconsistent with the ASTM standards. There are often no mill reports to guarantee the good quality of products. Lack of supervision and absence of any control over quality testing is a serious issue. The material is often very hard to be put to use and yields under high pressure. In the cases where long distance transportation is needed, the materials tend to lose their economic value because of unprofessional packaging, which in turn leads to the degradation of quality. Also, due to lack of knowledge, sometimes producers end up supplying wrong grades of the alloy, resulting in major losses. There is no warranty associated with the product and hence, the suppliers pull off their hands as soon as the product is dispatched. Thus, even after paying a high price, the customer ends up dissatisfied.

We are there for you

In the midst of all these malpractices, Kinnari Steel Corporation is one of those few suppliers you can trust. We are well known for maintaining a constant stock because as already mentioned, we believe that need might arise any time. We also deliver the alloys really fast, sometimes on the same day on urgent orders. We also deliver products that are consistent with ASTM standards and have mill reports in favor of the quality. A third party inspection in both government and private labs also ensures that the alloys are of high quality. We have been certified by ISO 17025 Standards Laboratory on the quality of the alloys we produce and supply. We specialize in dealing with nickel based alloys. Proper hardness and proper composition is taken care of very well. We are also highly efficient in packaging goods for transportation. We are available for consultation regarding alternate sizes and grades. We are also always eager to extend a helping hand to our clients even after the transaction. We also care for our resources and environment. We treat scrap material to convert it into alloy of good quality, thus efficiently recycling it. If, in any case, we somehow fail to meet the desired quality, we assure the customers of a product replacement warranty. With a mill test report in accordance with EN10204 NACE 3.1, NACE 3.2, we are associated with a large number of happy clients. The past records suggest that we have had less than one percent rejection rate over the last decade. This is a proof of how we hold customer satisfaction as a primary responsibility.
